I found an injured bird in the alley today; it wouldn’t let me pick it up so I lied down to watch it die. The driver didn’t see me I’m sure, but being dragged under a car for blocks is painful. It’s ok though I’m feeling much better now the red light lasted long enough and I’m sure the kid in the back seat will be fine.
